Theres a new guinea pig in town!

Yes! yesterday i got another guinea pig!! her names is twix! she is kinda scared entering a new home, but with snickers by her side i think she is doing better! (snickers is my other guinea pig) snickers on the other hand is very jelose! acting like twix cant go any ware near me! (*how cute*) but everything will get better! hopefully! she is very nice and friendly. and ever since snickers saw twix snixkers has been friendler also! i think thats what snickers needed a FRIEND!

in math today we had a test on coordinate grids. it seemed everybody did good on it. then we did pages in are journal one book. the pages were about coordinate grids and moving them around the coordinate chart. i hope everyone did good on the test!

In the U.S.A we have lots of technologies. and one big one is IPODS!!!!  almost everyone in are school has one. they are very popular. they play music, some have games and there are even ones that have video’s. Do you think they should be able to be aloud in school? I do. but not during class. Maybe on the bus and at lunch or recess. i mean really what harm are we going to do with a ipod? at lunch it would probably make us quieter. and i think if anyone has it during class time then they can be taken away. And if we have them during recess then it gives us something to do then be bored because most people dont like recess! Please leave a comment with your thoughts about this!!!!!!

The Taj Mahal

 The Tajmahalis a fascinating place! did you know it was built for a tomb for the Shaw’s wife when she died during her 58 child? they started making it in 1632 and finished in 1648. And they don’t evan know who designed it! the the Taj Mahal is sometimes named the Taj. It is suppose to be the finest mughal architecture. Witch is a style of eliments. Did you know the overall cost of it is 32 million rupees? In USA money that would be 300 million. overall the Taj Mahal is a great place to learn about! If your ever in India don’t forget to go their!

cell phones in school or not?

some teachers say its okay to have a cell phone in school as long as you dont use it in school. I say it should be a school rule that you can have a cell phone in school as long as if it is not on. Meaning no texting, no calling, and no games. It would have to stay in your cuby/locker. Some tachers say NO CELL PHONES!!!!!!! saying you cant have them at all. i say thats the ring thing bacause say you have a after school sport? AND you dont have a ride? what are you going to do? well if you have a cell phone then you call your parents/gardien to pick you up. If its a school rule then teachers shouldnt have them either. Us and teachers are both people we should be treated like each other. You should post a coment right now saying your opinean. because it would be great to find out what other people think. tell now!

Chocolate..

Chocolate is so good to eat! there are so many different kinds and shapes of chocolate! There is milk chocolate, dark chocolate, EXTRA dark chocolate. Kinds with peanuts in them or Carmel! my favorite is dark chocolate! there is also chocolate shaped like Bunny’s, Santa clause, circle, squares and many more!!! can you believe there is hallow chocolate? there is even hard chocolate with soft smooth melted chocolate inside! here is some pics of all different kinda of chocolate.

Tanner and Bluesy

 tanner and bluesy are brothers. Tanner is older evan no you would think bluesy is.

 Taner~

       taner loves to play fetch. he is more of a watch dog then any of the other ones. i think he is one of the cutes dogs ever!

 his color is tan and brown. thats why his name is Tanner. he has brown eyes. and licks me all the time!

 Bluesy~

 bluesy is a nice dog. he loves me! he gets over exsited when i come over. along with tanner he is one of the cutest dogs i ever seen. he loves to lay with me, putting his head on my chest.

 he loves to play with tanner. he plays fetch also. but he wont bring back the ball. So tanner always steals it from him.

 he has blueish hair thats why his name is bluesy. he has blue eyes. And also licks me all the time!

princess

princess is a very nice loving dog! she is my aunt and uncles dog. i visit there every weekend because my dad lives there so i get to see her.

 she is a rottweiler. NO!!! she is not mean. everyone thinks rottweilers are mean! if they are then she is one of the nice ones!

 she is getting very old. but sometimes she will play with the boys ((Tanner and bluesy. there going to be in different posts!))

 she sleeps all day! and loves treats! she is black with brown eyes. princess hates when the boys touch her. whenever they do she always grouls and barks and them. some-times when the boys play fetch and ball ends up touching her, she takes it and wont give it back to the boys.

About Cows!

Cows are very important to are word! why you might ask. well because they give us most of are food! such as cheese, milk, yogurt and anything els that has milk in it! cows are also important because they are steak, hamburgers and any kind of beef!

 You might here cows being called cattle. cattle means more then one cow. like a herd of cattle. Cattle means live stock in Latin.

 the first cow in America arrived in Jamestown colony in 1611. when the 1850’s came around every family had a cow!

 did you no after cows are born they are taken away from their mother? it will be put in a stall by itself and fed milk by a bottle.

 when cows have to get there hooves cleaned they put them in a cage that closely fit around there body. the cage turns to the side and the veterinarian will brush off the hoove to make it clean.

In school we read a paper by Emma Davy. this paper is about oil, and how we are going to run out of it in the future. In the future if this happens, then thats why we are making cars that run only on gasoline. I thought that there was lots of pollution going on from the 2.6 trillion barrels left on the ground! Because one barrel is equal to 159 liters or 42 gallons. The discovered oil geologists have found but not yet pumped out. The rest of the 900 billion barrels of oil is called undiscovered oil. Did you no that toothpaste, trash bags, tennis rackets have in common? They all have oil in them! what would happened if all the oil ran out? so when you are going somewhere walk don’t drive. and when its cold don’t turn up your heat get a couple blankets. did you learn a lesson yet?

Dogs Make a Good Pet!

   Dogs make a good pet! Why you might ask. well heres a paragraph that answers your question.

 Dogs make a good pet because they give love when your sad. And always make you Happy. They are always are happy! when there not its your job to make them happy. 

this is a recipie to turkish delight!

1lt (1¾ Pints) Water
900g (2lb) Sugar
285g (10oz) Corn Flour (Corn Starch)
225g (8oz) Icing Sugar
1½ tbsp Rosewater
2 tsp Lemon Juice
1 tsp Cream of Tartar
Red Food Colouring (optional)

Place the sugar, 285ml (½ pint) water, and lemon juice in a heavy saucepan over medium heat.
Stir until the sugar dissolves and the mixture boils.
Reduce the heat and simmer gently, without stirring, until the mixture reaches the soft-ball stage 114 - 118°C (238 - 245°F).

The sugar mixture will form a soft ball which can be squashed flat.
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
In a second large heavy saucepan over medium heat, stir together 225g (8oz) cornflour and the cream of tartar.
Gradually stir in the remaining water until no lumps remain.
Stir constantly, until the mixture boils and forms a thick, gluey paste.
Slowly pour the hot sugar syrup into the cornstarch mixture, stirring constantly.
Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring often, to prevent sticking, for about 1 hour, or until the mixture has become a pale golden colour.
Stir in the rosewater and add food colouring (if used).
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tin and spread evenly.
Cool to room temperature, uncovered, allow to stand overnight to set.
Sift the icing sugar and a little cornflour onto a large cutting board.
Turn out and cut into 1-inch squares with an oiled knife.
Roll pieces in the icing sugar mixture to coat well.
Store in an airtight container with sheets of waxed paper, dusted with the sugar mixture, separating every layer.
Makes approx.80 pieces.

Dear Ali,

Hello Ali. How are you? I am doing great accept for what Kemal Ataturk had  made us do. Meaning not letting men ware a traditional hat called the fez. The fez is a round shape hat that make it easer to pray in. Also not letting women wear the vale. The vale covers the hole face eccept for the eyes.

But kemal ataturk is dieing now. I will tell you a littel about him. he was the president for 15 years. He was acully the first president of turky. This happend when world war one ended. Kemal was born in the year of 1881. He is a milatery leader, evan when he was little he had to do with the milatery.When he was 12 he went to milatery school. He was evan that great known that in 1923 he made it in a time magazien!

In my contrey people call me very smart because i can write in aribic. That is very fortunite in my contrey because mostley the women in turky cant.

Yes so you have gessed! i have a cat, her name is Patches. she is a calico cat. she loves attention, but is afraid of boys. i love it when she comes and cuddle up with me when i sleep, and evan sometimes shes a pain and wakes  me up at five in the morning! but i still love her.
