cell phones in school or not?
some teachers say its okay to have a cell phone in school as long as you dont use it in school. I say it should be a school rule that you can have a cell phone in school as long as if it is not on. Meaning no texting, no calling, and no games. It would have to stay in your cuby/locker. Some tachers say NO CELL PHONES!!!!!!! saying you cant have them at all. i say thats the ring thing bacause say you have a after school sport? AND you dont have a ride? what are you going to do? well if you have a cell phone then you call your parents/gardien to pick you up. If its a school rule then teachers shouldnt have them either. Us and teachers are both people we should be treated like each other. You should post a coment right now saying your opinean. because it would be great to find out what other people think. tell now!

well… i dont really think it would matter if people brought there cell phones to school.Well this isz my opinion if you dont do any sports after school there is no point of bringing your cell phone to school!
i think i agree with emily P . if you dont have any reson to bring a cell phone to school then why should you? if you are doing a sport then bring a cell phone, but dont have it in class. keep it in your locker, i say this because why do you need your cell phone in the middel of class? and i also think if kids cant have cell phones then teachers cant either!

I agree with Emily P and Maria. Put it this way, The teachers shouldn’t have cell phones with them if we can’t, we should be able to bring cell phones into school, just not be able to bring them into classes. Just keep them in your locker turned off. You should be able to bring them because what if you need it for after school for going to the library and you are not sure what time it closes that day? Or what if you need it for an after school sport or drama that day too? I don’t think there should be this rule because everyone breaks it. Alot of people do this, bring their cell phone, keep it turned off in their locker. Just pretty much get rid of this rule, or prevent teachers from having them too. -Cheryl
I think thats a good way to put it,Maria. Teachers shouldn’t have cells if we can’t. We should at least get to bring them but keep them off or on silent, because we should at least feel like we don’t have to hide our cell phones. Same with ipods. I think we should be able to have them on the bus. And whats up with flip flops?! I don’t get what’s wrong with them, or any unbacked shoe.

I think that you should be able to have your cell phone in school because what if there was a earth quake or a lockdown. So i think Your wrong because your probally adults and dont know what your talking about .BUT I’M JUST A 7TH GRADER!!!!!!!!!!!
